About Hall of Gods

"Hall of Gods – A Tribute to the Gods of Music" is a conceptual album created by musician and composer Rafael Agostino, offering a unique fusion of classical music and metal. The project pays homage to five legendary composers — Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Grieg, and Carlos Gomes — through compositions that reinterpret their legacy with technical precision, emotional depth, and sonic intensity.

Released as a limited-edition vinyl LP, the album features collaborations with prominent figures from the international metal scene, including Zak Stevens, Chris Caffery (Savatage), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), Snowy Shaw (ex-King Diamond, Therion), Ronnie Romero (ex-Rainbow, ex-MSG), Marcelo Pompeu (Korzus), and May Puertas (Torture Squad). Each track is dedicated to a composer and invites the listener into a narrative-driven musical journey that blends virtuosity and power.

Biography

Rafael Agostino began his musical training at the age of 12, focusing on drums and guitar. By 15, he had expanded his instrumental expertise to include keyboard and piano. In 2002, he founded his first band and toured extensively throughout northern and northeastern Brazil.

In 2015, he recorded in Denmark with acclaimed producer Tommy Hansen, renowned for his work with Helloween and Jorn. Between 2017 and 2019, Rafael embarked on a European tour, performing in Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, Denmark, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

In 2021, he launched the Hall of Gods project, solidifying his artistic vision of merging classical sophistication with the expressive force of metal in a conceptual work that honors the great masters of music history.
